Pala G is music group, led by Gael Hutubessy who is a musician and student in Amsterdam with a focus on the intersections between cultural memory and decolonial practices. He is Indonesian (on father’s side) and Dutch (on mother’s side). Growing up in France, contact with his cultural heritage has always been from afar, through his regular visits to his family in the Netherlands and through the stories told by his grandparents.
